In-person or remote mediation

In-person mediations can be arranged in Manchester, subject to availability and agreement as to venue — often at the offices of one party's solicitors or a neutral venue in the city. We also provide remote mediation by video conference, which suits parties based in different parts of the country or disputes where travel costs would be disproportionate.

How commercial mediation works

Mediation is confidential and without prejudice. An independent mediator helps the parties explore a negotiated outcome, but nobody surrenders control of the result to a judge: a settlement exists only if everyone agrees to it.
