We exist to help parties resolve disputes sensibly, privately and at proportionate cost — and to preserve the relationships that litigation so often destroys.
Our philosophy
Most disputes are not really about the law. They are about money, risk, time, pride and the future of a relationship. Litigation answers only one of those questions, slowly and in public. Mediation answers all of them, confidentially, in a day.
Our approach is straightforward: prepare properly, listen carefully, ask difficult questions in private, and keep working until an agreement is reached or the parties are satisfied that they have tested every avenue.
Independence
ProMediate is wholly independent of any law firm, insurer or trade body. Our mediators act impartially and accept appointments only where there is no conflict of interest. Every party receives the same standard of preparation, attention and candour.
