Guidance
Is mediation right for your dispute?
Answer two quick questions and we'll give you an honest, practical view — including what to do if the other party hasn't agreed to mediate.
When might mediation not be suitable?
Mediation resolves the great majority of civil and commercial disputes, but it is not always the right first step. It may be less suitable where you need an urgent court order (such as an injunction to prevent immediate harm), where a binding legal precedent is required, or where one party cannot be brought to the table despite every effort.
If any of these apply, we will say so. Where mediation is not the right route, we would rather tell you honestly at the outset.
